The good and the beautiful!

Another interesting session with Elaine Nash last Friday (24th Feburary 2017) led us all to use Oil Pastels in the style of Hockney.  Looking at the artists work we could see he uses blocks of bright and unexpected colours to portray the countryside.

Many of us had not used oil pastels before, and found them quite liberating – much like crayoning!  Below is some examples of the work we produced.
